I'm so bored I've decided to list all ideas to make the Isle active again. Of course, we'll need to work out who will do which task.
But first, let me start off with a joke.
Draca walks into a bar..
Yes, lack of depth perception does that to you.
- Delete/block all inactive users
- Revive the art contest
- New pets
- New travel spots
- New Admin (gawd this sounds cruel)
- Dragopedia revival
- New surveys
- Fixing the games
- Even more new pets
- Better advertisement
I'd be willing to help with any and all of those that don't require any particular skills. So, Deleting the users, helping out with the art contest, dragopedia stuff, surveys...
Erm... other ideas... New items to go with the new pets, of course. If this is all successful and the Isle becomes more active, we'd need more moderators, as half of them have left. Well, it might just be easier to make the current ones Mods of all the forums, as well as Lightwing. Hmm, can't think of anything else off the top of my head.
I agree the important things should be fixed first, but what would those be?
I think maybe the art contest, as that's something quite alot of people go to, and it makes the whole site look alot worse if one of the major pages (ie, it's one of the links on the left) just doesn't work at all.
Oh, also, we need to fix the travel spot link to Up In The Clouds.
I agree with almost anything accept blocking users. So what if they don't use it? Any ways, ideas. Have any of you notice that you have to get on google to even find this site? Whenever I typ our adress in, a page pops up that says "it's always darkest before the dawn." If that page belongs to the acual dragonisle, than use it! Also could somebody please tell me how to enter the art contest? I would love it!
I think that although the 'Isle has less traffic than a ghost town in some random place nowhere, we have a small group of (semi)dedicated users that struggle valiantly to maintain usage of this fun way to socialise with people you don't know. I remember the four or five years ago I joined. I used it every day with other people at my school. I think that if we are still using it then this place at least means something to someone.
