Well, not so much remember, since there's simply too much from our past together to remember, but does anyone ever check out the archives, and just read through some of the old posts?
I did today. I laughed, I groaned at my horrible spelling and promptly wanted to die from it, and wondered what the heck was going through my mind somedays, leading up to really random events that I took part in.
It's almost kind of scary I think, because different events did take place, but we can completely clean our characters past if we want to, unlike in real life.
Anyways, just sort of a random thought/topic because I have posted a new topic in a while. Something to make people curious, and perhaps discuss the past before we move on to the future.
Some of the really, really old posts really make me want to kill myself because of the way I typed, and some other posts because of my idiocy. They just make me cringe.
But Rok was even worse and I enjoy showing him examples of his bad grammar, when he tries to deny it. It's fun.
On the other hand, it can be quite sad. All those people we never speak to anymore, all those fun times that we simply don't have anymore. It's so nice that we're still all here to reminisce.
I don't often read back, though. There's a lot of boring things to sift through as well, when you're trying to find something fun. One I particularly enjoy reading is that RP "A little fun (featuring Draca)" I think it is called. It just always makes me laugh when I read it. Saved it on my laptop the other week, in case I can't find it some time.
I go back sometimes to some of my favorite threads and read them. I also like going through the RPs and stuff. But I haven't had time in a while...
Oh, and I totally agree, Glic. Sometimes I stumble upon one of my older posts and just collapse into a puddle of embarrassment. Oh well. I figure we're the only people who will go back and read those, and I don't think the mafia will track us down for being random and using poor grammar on the Dragonisle. Although who knows. I could be wrong.
I hope the fun will return in the future, regardless to how bleak the new site's theme is supposed to be. And you've got a point Glic. It is nice to know that we're still around to laugh and cringe at our past. Let's hope we can do that in the future, though hopefully with less cringing.
